Hi! You can call me Damien. I'm a 23 year-old American currently living in Florida. In my free time, I like to listen to music, brainstorm, and fall down rabbit holes online. I'm a self-taught artist, aspiring writer, and an amateur home cook.

I've been on the internet since around 2007 (I was 7 years old.) Back then, I could hardly sit still in school, waiting until I could come home and take my turn on the family PC. I spent all of my free time watching Club Penguin music videos and playing free CD-ROM game demos on the Comcast website. Not much has changed since then, except nowadays, I pay taxes, too.

I wanted to make my own website so badly as a kid, but I never knew how, nor did I have a reason why to motivate me. Now, I am armed with basic HTML knowledge from my Tumblr days, the ability to Google stuff I don't know, and a desperate need for a creative outlet.

I'd like to use my site to express myself, collect things that bring me joy, and most importantly, practice using my words. That sounds juvenile, and it is. For a variety of reasons, I've had little practice speaking my mind. When I do speak, the words tend to get jumbled up somewhere on their way from my brain to my mouth. I have a lot of stories I want to tell, so I'm going to keep stretching my linguistic muslces until I can tell them well!
