TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) is a 5-member Korean boy group managed by the HYBE Corporation sub-label, Big Hit Music. They debuted on March 19, 2019 with the EP The Dream Chapter: Star. TXT is Bighit's second major boy group project after the global sensation BTS - making them them BTS's "little brother" group.
TXT is one of the biggest stars of the 4th generation of K-pop. They are my favorite currently active K-pop group.
I'd like to share everything I know and feel about this amazing group in this shrine. If you have any curiosity about TXT, or love them as much as I do, read on!
MY HISTORY WITH TXT
I discovered TXT in January of 2019, while the members were being revealed. I was an ARMY (BTS fan) at the time, so the idea of a new boy group from their company piqued my interest, although I only loosely followed the news of it.
The members were revealed through two sets of video teasers - the Introduction Films and the Questioning Films. I became aware of them after Hueningkai's Introduction Film was released, revealing him as the group's 3rd member. He recieved a lot of attention online for being the first foreigner to debut under Bighit. It was specifically the rumors of him being of Brazillian descent that first caught my eye (these were later proven to be false.) I began following the release of the video teasers as a result.
The Introduction Films, TXT's first set of video member teasers, were charming and fun, showcasing each member out-and-about in daily life locations. What truly sold me on the group, though, were the second set of teasers: the Questioning Films. Unlike the Introduction Films, which had different sets and music for each member, the Questioning Films instead stage the 5 members on very similar sets over the same exact song. I felt that the uniformity made their individualities stand out a lot more. There was only one difference between the videos, and that was the unique shape, flower, and animal that are used to frame each member. The Questioning Films were also the first video content released as part of TXT's fictional storyline, The Star Seekers (known then as +U.) As a huge LOONA fan and an ARMY, the fact that Bighit's new group had a fictional universe where the members have representative symbols really piqued my interest. I was sold.
Ever since then, I've been their fan. Their debut EP, The Dream Chapter: Star is still one of my favorite releases of theirs. That first year of their debut was what I consider to be the very final year of my childhood - I moved out of my parents house afterwards. My life has become pretty busy since then, so there have been periods where I haven't followed their releases and promotions as closely. They've released music that I absolutely love, and some that I really don't. But I don't think any of these things make me less of a fan than any other MOA. TXT and their music mean a lot to me, and they've always been there for me to return to when I needed them.
On May 10th, 2023, after 4 years of being a MOA, I finally got to see TXT perform live! It was a once in a lifetime experience. I wrote an entire blogpost documenting my experience.
THE MEMBERS
There are 5 members of TOMORROW X TOGETHER: Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai. Unlike other groups, TXT has no set "positions", as all of the members are exceptional singers and dancers. Plans for the group were confirmed by Bighit in 2017, with members training for debut as early as 2014 (just 1 year after BTS's debut and before they became a popular group.)

Some fun facts about Yeonjun:
- He was the first member of TXT to be revealed.
- He is the oldest member of TXT.
- Despite this, he is shorter than the youngest member, Hueningkai.
- He has the longest training period among not only TXT, but every Bighit artist, about 5 years. He joined Bighit in 2014, just 1 year after the debut of BTS and long before they became a successful group. (He took a chance with the then small Bighit and I think it paid off for him big time!)
- He rapped his own lyrics for his Bighit audition even though he had never rapped before.
- He was formerly a CUBE Entertainment trainee before he joined Bighit.
- He was known as "Bighit's Legendary Trainee", having always ranked first in the monthly vocal, dance, and rap evaluations.
- He is an only child.
- He lived in San Jose, California for around 2 years during elementary school.
- His English name is Daniel.
- He is the only TXT member with a personal Instagram account.

- He is the leader of TXT.
- He was the second member of TXT to be revealed.
- He is the tallest member of TXT and the tallest Bighit artist.
- He was a trainee for 3 years before debut.
- He has a brother who is 6 years older than him, and a sister who is 10 years older than him.
- His English name is Steve.
- He has a pet hedgehog named Odi.
- He is a huge fan of American artist Bebe Rexha, and has had several interactions with her:
- The first time Soobin expressed being a Bebe Rexha fan (in an English interview) seems to be the May 29th, 2019 interview with iHeartRadio. He made mention of this throughout numerous interviews during their first American press tour. Fans made compilations of these and sent them to Bebe.
- On May 30th, 2019, Bebe acknowledged his admiration for her on Twitter. Soobin responded enthusiastically in a quote retweet later that day.
- On April 7th, 2020, Bebe joined TXT on an Instagram livestream.
- On November 20, 2022, TXT attended the 50th annual American Music Awards and got to watch Bebe Rexha perform. Soobin posted about the performance on Twitter the next day. Bebe responded and invited him to meet up in LA, but TXT was already headed back to Korea at the time of her posting. Soobin was devastated.
- In February of 2023, TXT travelled to LA to perform Sugar Rush Ride on The Late Late Show withs James Corden. At some point while they were in LA, Bebe Rexha invited Soobin to her home and the two finally had an in-person (albeit brief, 15-minute) meetup. Soobin gifted her a copy of the The Name Chapter: Temptation (Daydream version) with a hand-written note on it. Bebe spoke about the meetup at the 2023 Kids Choice Awards, saying Soobin was "so cute. He was so sweet. He was shaking", and that the experience nearly made her cry.
- Bebe Rexha has expressed interest in collaborating with TXT on multiple occassions, but this has yet to actually happen. She has mentioned that her team has found it difficult to get in touch with TXT's.
